How Long Do Home Interiors Take in Hyderabad? A Real Timeline
What actually happens week by week on a Hyderabad interior project, how long a 2BHK and 3BHK really take, and why projects slip.
A 2BHK interior in Hyderabad takes around 60 days. A 3BHK takes 60 to 75 days. A villa takes 60 to 90 days depending on scope.
The important part is where that clock starts. It starts on the day the design is finalised and the agreement is signed. It does not start on the day you pay the booking advance. Those two dates are usually weeks apart, and that gap is where most timeline disappointment comes from.
The two things that actually cause delay are material availability and labour availability. Design is almost never the reason a Hyderabad project runs late.
The delay that is yours is deciding slowly. Every reopened decision after production has started resets a piece of the schedule. ARspace works all days, 10am to 9pm.
Everyone asks this in the first meeting. Most answers are optimistic.
Here is ours, and it is the average, not the brochure number.
2BHK: around 60 days
3BHK: around 60 to 75 days
Villa: 60 to 90 days depending on scope
This is the part nobody explains, and it causes more disappointment than any delay.
The clock starts the day the design is finalised and the agreement is signed. Not the first meeting. Not the day you pay the booking advance.
Those two dates are usually weeks apart. If you paid a booking advance in March and finalised the design in April, your 60 days runs from April. We say this in the first meeting because it is much worse to explain it in week eight.
Design and selection. Site measurement, layout, drawings, material selection, quote. This is the phase you control completely and it sits before the clock starts.
Design freeze and agreement. Both signed. Factory production begins. From this point, changes cost money.
Site work. Ceiling, electrical, plumbing changes, painting prep. Runs parallel to factory production.
Installation. Modules arrive and go up. This is the fast, satisfying part everyone remembers.
Snagging and handover. Counter, finishing, cleaning, corrections.
Material availability. A specific board, a specific finish or a specific hardware line is out of stock. It does not matter how good your drawing is if the sheet does not exist this week.
Labour availability. A trade gets pulled to another site or a festival empties the crew. In a project where one trade waits on another, a two day gap becomes a two week gap.
Notice what is not on that list. Drawings. The design is almost never the reason a Hyderabad project runs late.
Deciding slowly.
We recommend making material decisions before the freeze and then not reopening them. Every reopened decision after production has started resets a piece of the schedule.
The fastest projects we run are not the simplest. They are the ones where the client answered questions quickly and then left them answered.
We work all days, 10am to 9pm. Some of our teams take Sunday off and some take Tuesday, so there is always a crew available.
If your society or building restricts working hours further, tell us in the first meeting. We will build it into the timeline instead of explaining it to you in week six.
Do not plan a housewarming for the week after your promised handover date. Plan it two weeks after.
ARspace suggests treating the handover date as the earliest realistic date, not the latest. Every honest studio in Hyderabad is working with the same material and labour market you are.
2BHK 60 days, 3BHK 60 to 75 days, villa 60 to 90 days
The clock starts at design freeze and agreement, not at booking advance
Delays come from material and labour availability, almost never from design
We work all days, 10am to 9pm
Plan your housewarming two weeks after the promised date
The fastest projects are not the simplest ones. They are the ones where decisions stayed decided.
Did You Know: On most Hyderabad projects, more calendar time is lost to reopened decisions than to any single supplier delay.
